Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician to join our team at Transformco. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances with high levels of quality and efficiency.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Provide customers with value-added solutions to help make their home more clean, comfortable, and protected.
  • Keep company trucks well-maintained and organized, and help manage parts efficiently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
  • Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing and repair tools.
  • Experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions and processes for quality workmanship.
  • Ability to use a smartphone, including use for part ordering.
  • Successfully pass a background and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license for the state(s) in which you work.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% and work variable and flexible hours, including required overtime.

Work Environment

This is a road warrior position, with up to 100% travel required. You will be working in customers' homes, as well as in a fast-paced service environment.
