Job Summary

The Security Staff at Hall of Fame Village are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior guest service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including complaints, security breaches, and internal theft.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external clients and organizations.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality security services across the campus.
  • Prepare and maintain security team spaces and equipment.
  • Collaborate with adjacent teams to address maintenance, custodial, and facility issues.
  • Patrol buildings and general guard routes, communicating issues as they arise.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • At least 19 years of age.
  • One year of prior experience in security, criminal justice, law enforcement, or military.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.
  • Move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.
  • See and respond to hazardous situations.
  • Sit, stand, squat, and walk for periods of time as required.
  • Must be able to hear, see, and speak.

Hall of Fame Village is a multi-use sports, entertainment, and media destination centered around the Pro Football Hall of Fame's campus in Canton, Ohio. Our campus features over 100 acres of immersive experiences, including Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, ForeverLawn Sports Complex, and the Constellation Center for Excellence.
