Assists in managing inventory and suggests necessary purchases.

Engages with parents of participants by providing essential information and procedures regarding lesson observations; distributing handouts and flyers; addressing inquiries during lessons; and ensuring completion of program evaluations.

Actively participates in emergency drills and adheres to procedures to the fullest extent allowed by training and circumstances.

Program Management Duties:
Enters classes into the management system, assigns participants to suitable levels, reduces waitlists, oversees registration processes, promptly responds to communications, and posts schedules for member access.

Program Development Responsibilities:

Monitors retention rates, promotional efforts, and overall registration statistics; analyzes class fill rates and adjusts future offerings accordingly; collaborates with branch leadership to enhance program offerings; and identifies opportunities to address community needs.


Supervisory Duties:
Indirectly oversees a team of 5-20 staff members, executing supervisory responsibilities in alignment with organizational policies and relevant laws.

Responsibilities encompass interviewing and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing tasks; evaluating performance; coaching, rewarding, and addressing disciplinary matters; and resolving complaints.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma along with prior teaching experience.

Certifications Required:
CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen, as well as Lifeguarding certification.

Within Six Months of Employment:
YMCA Swim Lessons Instructor certification and American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification.
