Role SummaryWe are in search of a skilled Security Systems Applications Engineer to enhance our team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field and will be adept at deploying, configuring, and managing physical security systems. Proficiency with Genetec is essential, and familiarity with alarm system deployment and programming is a plus. A minimum of three years of experience in access control installation, programming, migration, and maintenance is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure and program control panels along with other system components.
- Design and engineer physical security systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with existing systems promptly.
- Deliver exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to execute installation and service projects effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, parts utilized, documentation, and time invested in each project.
- Adhere to company safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and technologies to optimize installation and maintenance practices.
- A minimum of three years of experience in access control installation, programming, migration, and maintenance.
- Understanding of cabling, termination on control panels, and programming.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities with a quick diagnostic approach.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective time management skills with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Clean background check.
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
