The role of Aerospace Systems Engineer at Actalent involves working on the Jackal Program, which focuses on designing and developing a missile-powered aircraft. This position requires experience in fuel system design, fluid handling components, pressure, regulators, flow, check valves, fittings, and hydraulics.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems), Aircraft, or Missile Systems is necessary for this role. The team player must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The estimated salary for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fuel System Design: Design and develop fuel systems for the aircraft, including fuel tanks and fuel lines.
  • Fluid Handling Components: Select and specify fluid handling components, such as pumps, valves, and pipes.
  • Pressure Regulators: Design and install pressure regulators to control fluid pressure.
  • Flow Management: Optimize fluid flow through the system to ensure efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems), Aircraft, or Missile Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
  • Experience with CAD software, such as Creo.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
