Job Title: Zingerman's Bakehouse Retail Sales Staff - Artisan Bread Specialist

At Zingerman's Bakehouse, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Staff member to join our team. As an Artisan Bread Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests with product selection, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest
  • Assist guests with product selection, providing knowledge and recommendations on our artisan breads and baked goods
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and process credit card payments
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve product knowledge and sales skills
Requirements:
  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a food service or bakery environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
