Professor of Large Animal Medicine and Surgery

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Leader in Large Animal Medicine and Surgery to join our faculty at Lincoln Memorial University. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the mission of the University in large animal surgery programs of study.
Key Responsibilities- Establish curriculum, subject matter, and methods of instruction for large animal surgery programs.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of courses and academic programs within the College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Promote a culture of academic excellence and intellectual integrity in teaching and research.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student grades and course materials.
- Design and present courses, lectures, and small group discussions on large animal surgery topics.
- Prepare and grade examination questions and assignments.
- Meet classes according to published schedules and commit to working in a multicultural environment.
- Provide service to the University by attending faculty meetings and serving on committees as required.
- Complete required institutional and program accreditation reports.
- Veterinary Medical degree.
- Advanced degree in large animal surgery and/or specialty board certification are highly desirable.
