We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. Our client, a well-established OEM manufacturer, is experiencing substantial growth and requires a talented engineer to drive product development and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product concepts and enhance existing products by managing engineering project activities and priorities, coordinating with sales, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams.
  • Apply engineering principles, proprietary design tools, and internal design criteria to create innovative product solutions.
  • Design and develop 3-D models, assemblies, and 2-D prints to validate concepts, detail designs, and communicate design intent.
  • Specify and supervise product validation testing to ensure new concepts and designs meet quality and performance standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • 2+ years' experience working with mechanical systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD systems, preferably Solid Works.
  • Experience with basic manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards and work processes.
