About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse - Per Diem to join our team at Talbot Hospice. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and holistic care to patients and their families.

Job Description
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans that cater to their unique needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and manage the overall care delivery, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including symptom management and pain control, to ensure the highest standards of comfort and support.
  • Educate patients and families on the hospice philosophy and care options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, basic math skills, and nursing skills per competency checklist. A current Registered Nurse RN Licensure in the State of Maryland and CPR certification are also required.
