Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing evidence-based strategies for youth substance use prevention and mental wellness.
  • Collaborating with local school districts and community coalitions to drive impactful programs.
  • Conducting assessments, strategic planning, and program evaluation to ensure effectiveness.
  • Building and maintaining coalition capacity by engaging community members and stakeholders.
  • Delivering educational presentations to parents and community groups on relevant health topics.
  • Advocating for prevention initiatives at local, state, and national levels.
  • Managing grant documentation and reporting for coalition activities.
  • Providing administrative support to prevention coalitions, including organizing meetings and maintaining communication.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Missouri Prevention Specialist Credential (or willingness to obtain).
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • A valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Experience and Skills

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with social media management.
  • A commitment to youth engagement and education.
