Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Technician II-PD to join our team at Tufts Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional and nonprofessional nursing care services in accordance with physician orders. This role focuses on performing Nursing Support duties, including providing basic care services to patients, collecting and recording clinical data, and preparing rooms for admission/transfer/discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist professional registered nurses in the functional care of patients, ensuring efficient and patient-centered care.
  • Perform delegated tasks and communicate all findings/concerns to the professional nurse.
  • Provide or assist patients with activities of daily living in a safe, efficient, and respectful manner.
  • Collect, record, and communicate patient clinical data to the assigned nurse in a timely manner.
  • Prepare rooms for admission/transfer/discharge, ensuring standardized equipment is ready for use.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Preferred qualifications include current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification, completion of Nursing Fundamentals in an accredited Nursing program, and one year of related experience as a Nursing Assistant (NA), Patient Care Assistant (PCA), Critical Care Tech (CCT), or Patient Care Tech (PCT).
