1st Shift – Returns Processing Specialist
The Warehouse division is looking for a Returns Processing Specialist to ensure that all returned merchandise is thoroughly examined, sanitized, and adequately prepared for reintegration into inventory using various tools, cleaning agents, and an RF scanner.
This position offers a valuable opportunity within the WeatherTech Direct organization.
- High-achieving, dependable, and collaborative team members are rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package, including potential year-end bonuses and salary increases.
- The hourly wage is set at $19.50.
- 1st shift hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Responsibilities of the Returns Processing Specialist include:
- Receiving and unloading product returns from shipping carriers.
- Inspecting items for damages or defects, documenting any discrepancies, and accurately cleaning, bagging, and labeling returned products for proper storage.
- Processing freight by confirming received units and unpacking deliveries into designated locations.
- Ensuring products are stored safely, properly labeled, and easily accessible for restocking.
- Returning unsold or returned items to the stockroom in accordance with established company standards.
- Communicating effectively and documenting clear notes regarding product information; interpreting notes from Customer Service Representatives.
- Adhering to safety protocols and company policies during all job functions.
- Maintaining a full-time schedule, with potential overtime as business needs arise, including extended hours and weekends.
- Keeping the workspace clean and organized, as well as maintaining equipment.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with computer operations and RF scanners; experience with Epicor is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and reading skills for label comprehension.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across various departments.
- A high level of attention to detail to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality concerns.
- The ability to stand, walk, and move about for the duration of the shift.
- Frequent kneeling, bending, and reaching as required.
- Occasional lifting and moving of materials, with the ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally, with assistance as necessary.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
