Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Post-Graduate Research Fellow to join our team at Accountability Counsel. As a Post-Graduate Research Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work on a discrete research or data project relating to the state of international accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a research or data project, working with all parts of our organization to synthesize data and produce salient conclusions.
  • Develop and implement research methodologies, including data modeling and programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Collaborate with our Research Director and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of international accountability.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as International Law, Development, Economics, Public Policy, Environmental Justice, or Human Rights.
  • Relevant work experience and/or academic background in at least some of the areas in which we work.
  • Excellent communication, research, writing, and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and programming languages such as Python or R is helpful but not required.
