The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a highly skilled neuromuscular neurologist to contribute to our team's clinical and scholarly missions.
Responsibilities- Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
- Work in a collegial relationship with other faculty members to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient clinical service, teaching, and research in the field of neuromuscular neurology.
- Develop an independent, extramurally funded research program.
- Teach medical student courses and clerkship, mentor graduate students and trainees, and train residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Hold a leadership role in the department for candidates at the rank of associate or full professor.
- Terminal degree (MD or DO) required.
- Must be ABPN or AOBNP Board eligible or certified in Neurology.
- Neuromuscular fellowship or equivalent experience required.
- Training in muscle/nerve pathology desirable.

Additional InformationThis position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
