Job Summary

The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a highly skilled neuromuscular neurologist to contribute to our team's clinical and scholarly missions.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
  • Work in a collegial relationship with other faculty members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient clinical service, teaching, and research in the field of neuromuscular neurology.
  • Develop an independent, extramurally funded research program.
  • Teach medical student courses and clerkship, mentor graduate students and trainees, and train residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Hold a leadership role in the department for candidates at the rank of associate or full professor.
Requirements
  • Terminal degree (MD or DO) required.
  • Must be ABPN or AOBNP Board eligible or certified in Neurology.
  • Neuromuscular fellowship or equivalent experience required.
  • Training in muscle/nerve pathology desirable.
