Job Summary

The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a highly qualified neurologist to join our team as a neuromuscular neurologist. The successful candidate will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.

Responsibilities
  • Outpatient and inpatient clinical service, including neuromuscular clinics, EMG clinics, and muscle/nerve biopsy activities.
  • Teaching and research responsibilities, including developing an independent, extramurally funded research program and mentoring graduate students and trainees.
  • Leadership role in the department, including participation in professional, public, and university service.
Requirements
  • Terminal degree (MD or DO) required.
  • ABPN or AOBNP Board eligibility or certification in Neurology required.
  • Neuromuscular fellowship or equivalent experience required.
  • Training in muscle/nerve pathology desirable.
