Home Health Clinical Manager Assistant

The Assistant Clinical Manager will oversee the Quality Program for the clinic, ensuring all standards are met and procedural manuals are up-to-date. This individual will serve as a backup to the Clinical Manager and manage a caseload as needed for client coverage. Key responsibilities include maintaining clinical record documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and participating in Performance Improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OASIS and/or coding, as well as experience in health care, particularly in home health. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to act as a Preceptor, coordinate orientation and training for new hires, and provide ongoing training and educational opportunities for Clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain clinical record documentation according to agency policy and procedures and state/federal regulation
Ensure compliance with regulations and be available for federal and state licensure surveys
Participate in Performance Improvement activities, including clinical record review, quality indicator monitoring, and quality management
Act as a Preceptor to coordinate orientation and training for all RN Clinical new hires
Provide ongoing training and educational opportunities for Clinical staff
Serve as a senior member to all staff regarding quality improvement and documentation
Oversee clinical orientation duties, including documentation and quality improvement for all new health-related employees
Carry a caseload of patients, understand and perform the admission process plan of care
Supervise RN, LPN, and HHA field staff as indicated
Requirements:
Active RN licensure in the state of the application
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred:
Medicare skilled nursing experience
Basic understanding of OASIS
RN experience in health care (home health)
