Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment and supplies, and perform routine maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • Completion of an ACR-approved school for Radiologic Technology
  • 1-3 years of experience as a MRI Technologist, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current ARRT Certificate or ARMRIT certificate, MRI, RT (X-ray), and BLS provider card
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and cross-sectional anatomy
Working Conditions

The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment, with frequent standing, walking, and sitting. The position requires hand and finger mobility for use of keyboards and other equipment, and occasional lifting of materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

The MRI Technologist will be exposed to potential hazards such as radiation-emitting equipment, extreme heat or cold, chemicals, bio-hazard waste, and sharp instruments. The position requires the ability to work flexible schedules as needed, and to maintain confidentiality in handling company and sensitive patient information.
