Position Overview:

This role is for a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, primarily working night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting comprehensive nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications in accordance with nursing practice standards.
  • Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and their families on conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will rely on their experience and judgment to achieve nursing goals, performing a variety of tasks with a high degree of creativity and autonomy. This position typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Educational Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • Certification as a Registered Nurse.

Experience:

Recent hospital experience in Med-Surg/Tele or Critical Care is required, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • C-AHA ACLS
  • C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
  • L-AK-RN License

Preferred Certifications:

  • C-ENA-Emer Nur Ped C
  • C-ENA-Trauma Nursing-TNCC
