Position SummaryThis role encompasses a range of responsibilities related to the observation and tracking of video EEG in the Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (PEMU). The Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of pediatric patients undergoing EEG monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct continuous and proactive video and audio monitoring of EEG patients utilizing XLTEK equipment, promptly addressing any recording issues that may arise.
- Maintain and disseminate current recording status updates for ongoing continuous EEG sessions.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
