Position Summary

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities related to the observation and tracking of video EEG in the Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (PEMU). The Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of pediatric patients undergoing EEG monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct continuous and proactive video and audio monitoring of EEG patients utilizing XLTEK equipment, promptly addressing any recording issues that may arise.
  2. Maintain and disseminate current recording status updates for ongoing continuous EEG sessions.
  3. Engage in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
  4. Execute various job-related tasks as assigned to support the department's operations.
