# Project Overview:
Bechtel's dedication to renewable energy and clean technologies empowers our clients to undertake transformative projects in these sectors. Our renewables team is tasked with managing the project, engineering, procurement, and construction of a significant utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) generating facility.
# Job Summary:
In this position, you will oversee and coordinate subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical operations on a multifaceted project involving numerous stakeholders. Your field supervision will ensure that operations are synchronized with established schedules and that work methods are executed safely.
# Key Responsibilities:
Planning / Productivity
+ Assist in the preparation of construction drawings and sketches.
+ Contribute to the development of construction methodologies and procedures.
+ Generate forecasts and schedules for workforce, materials, and equipment needs.
+ Review subcontractor construction methodologies, schedules, and resource requirements.
+ Optimize the utilization of construction equipment and tools on-site.
+ Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to specifications and timelines.
Tools, Materials & Equipment
+ Monitor tool and equipment usage on-site.
+ Prepare requisitions for tools and consumables, ensuring crafts have necessary resources.
Safety / Quality
+ Oversee the installation of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
+ Implement and enforce established policies, procedures, and work rules.
Technical
+ Collaborate with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals to interpret engineering documents.
+ Participate in coordinating engineering solutions with subcontractors and craft professionals.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or 6-9 years of relevant work experience is required.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Prior field non-manual supervision experience on EPC projects.
+ Must possess the right to work and remain in the United States.
+ Previous experience in renewables EPC is preferred.
+ Experience with utility-scale solar projects exceeding 100MW is preferred.
+ Experience in large-scale EPC projects is preferred.
+ Direct hire/craft supervision experience is preferred.
+ High geographical mobility and cross-discipline experience are preferred.
