Job Title: Patient Service Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Specialist to join our team at Saco Bay PT. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register new patients, collect demographic information, and verify insurance coverage
  • Schedule patient appointments, manage waitlists, and coordinate with providers and staff
  • Collect copays, manage patient payments, and process insurance claims
  • Provide patients with information about their next appointment, treatment plans, and any necessary instructions
  • Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns to management as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in a medical office or patient services setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems
