Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Pilbara Minerals is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our team at our Pilgangoora Operation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for completing equipment repairs and maintenance to a high standard, ensuring the production plant and utilities operate safely and reliably within approved budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Complete daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed and recorded in line with statutory regulations and requirements.
- Assist with electrical isolations and permitting when required.
- Trouble shoot electrical components and control systems to determine causes of failures, including gathering of failure evidence for further analysis.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Provide feedback to supervisors on any business improvement opportunities and ideas.
- Take a proactive approach to safety, including identifying and reporting safety hazards and adhering to the Life Saving Rules.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation maintenance. You will have a Grade 'A' Electrical licence, Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation & High Voltage switching ticket, and previous fixed processing plant experience. You will also have a high level of attention to detail, quality, and commitment to continuous improvement, as well as a strong commitment to safety and quality.
