Compensation: Minimum salary of $107,598 with a midpoint of $137,113. Salary is determined based on total relevant experience.

The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for evaluating and managing primary care for individuals with HIV and providing consultative care for preventative services. This role involves collaboration with a registered nurse case manager and other healthcare professionals through telehealth.

This position allows for independent practice under the supervision of the Medical Director, with opportunities for consultation and continuing education through telephonic support and specialized clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans within the scope of practice.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including writing appropriate medical orders.
  • Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Document patient histories and physical examinations, noting significant findings.
  • Maintain safety and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Deliver health education to patients and community groups.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant program.
  • Experience: No minimum experience required in Family Practice; one year in specialty areas preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must hold a valid license from the New Mexico Board of Nursing or Medical Examiner, along with necessary certifications.
