Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Management: Utilize established methodologies to collect patient information for research projects, gather and compile data, statistics, and other materials as needed.
  • Study Coordination: Work with research teams to ensure study protocols are followed, and data is collected and analyzed accurately.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Interface with patients, families, and study collaborators to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including IRB and other approvals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare brief reports to share preliminary findings and provide updates on study progress to the study team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or healthcare administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of progressively responsible project coordination experience, preferably in a research setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications, effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification: Preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Preferred.
  • Experience in Academic Medical Centers: Preferred.
