We are currently engaged in a vital initiative for a U.S. Government client, concentrating on the establishment and upkeep of a network operations environment that incorporates advanced cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the System Architect and Development teams in the creation, integration, and testing of state-of-the-art cybersecurity features.
  • Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams to design and implement sophisticated cybersecurity solutions.
  • Interacting with stakeholders and end-users to improve system functionalities and delivery methodologies.
  • Advocating for Systems Engineering interests during program meetings.
  • Creating and maintaining system design documentation for the operational environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship with a Secret Clearance, and the capability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance, along with DHS Suitability.
  • A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in cybersecurity architecture and attack-mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in Systems Engineering Lifecycle processes and Change Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with architectural principles and software/system lifecycle methodologies.
  • Understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security controls.

Education & Certifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications such as DoD IAT Level II and Certified Systems Engineering Professional are preferred.
