About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our team to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment, executing physicians' prescribed plans of care and documenting care provided in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, as well as conduct patient assessments and coordinate care.
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
