Unit OverviewThe Med/Surg-Medical Unit is a 32-bed unit that provides care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions. Our team is known for its superb teamwork, learning environment, and sense of family and camaraderie. We offer a fun and engaging work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with medical conditions
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and delegate responsibilities as needed
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current MN RN License
- BLS for Health Care Providers
- Preferred: BSN, recent med/surg RN experience
