Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for assisting patients in and out of therapy equipment, setting up equipment for therapy sessions, and monitoring patients during exercises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in and out of therapy equipment, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Set up equipment for therapy sessions, including adjusting machines, stocking supplies, and preparing treatment areas.
  • Monitor patients during exercises, ensuring they are performing them correctly and following the therapist's instructions.
  • Record patient progress and update therapy plans as directed by a licensed therapist.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and therapy rooms, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Report and document any problems or concerns to the supervising therapist.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent; some college-level coursework in physiology, anatomy, or kinesiology preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and therapists.
  • Ability to multitask, be organized, and handle a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, such as using electronic medical records software.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
