Summary of Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant to provide physical therapy services to our orthopaedic patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for working under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, providing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with medical protocols. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients under the direct supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with medical protocols.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with documentation guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in professional continuing education relevant to the TSAOG patient population.


Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  • Licensed in the State of Texas.
  • On-the-job training to new hires, orthopaedic therapy experience required.
  • Manual therapy skills, decision-making, leadership, and good communication skills required.
