Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Rifenburg Companies. As a key member of our construction crew, you will perform various manual labor tasks on heavy highway projects.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Job

This is a physically demanding role that requires strength, balance, and stamina. You will work in all weather conditions, lift up to 80 pounds, and stand for long periods. Travel out of town may be required for short-term assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely assist with manual labor aspects of the project as directed by site supervision.
  • Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a safe manner.
  • Load and unload trucks, haul, and hoist materials.
  • Perform other labor-related duties as instructed by supervisor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior construction experience (not required), and a valid state driver's license. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in regulatory trainings (First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10, Flagging, etc.) is also essential.
