We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
Key Responsibilities- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
- Position patients correctly for scanning and administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and maintain accurate patient records.
- Follow safety procedures when working with radiation and understand the McKesson PACS system.
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT National certification with registration in computed tomography.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
As a CT Technologist with Travel Nurse Across America, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and medical teams, developing your skills and expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
