Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Department Lead to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for driving sales, supervising hourly associates, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train a team of hourly associates to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting our bakery products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure seamless operations and achieve business goals.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating expertise in bakery operations and promoting a positive work culture.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in a bakery production department or 6 months of supervising a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
