Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Coordinator to join our team at Lovesac Company. As a Department Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our retail stores by providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage store operations, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory control
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting our products
  • Collaborate with the District Manager to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Train and develop team members to meet or exceed financial goals
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure inventory integrity and accuracy, protecting company assets at all times
  • Support the recruiting and hiring of SIS talent, developing bench and networking for backfill
  • Communicate issues regarding team and business to supervisor timely, sharing pertinent details as necessary
  • Ensure store merchandising standards are maintained, including merchandising visuals, marketing, cleanliness, and inventory levels
  • Process POS transactions, including sales returns and exchanges, in accordance with company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven time management skills and ability to adapt to a changing business environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use and operate all equipment as required, including iPad, laptop, etc.
  • Ability to move objects, including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds, from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position
  • Ability to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor or in our warehouse
  • Ability to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for occasional meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation
