Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, as well as protecting our assets and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to ensure the safety of our guests and employees
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as accidents, attacks, or other security breaches
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify potential safety risks
  • Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all security-related documents
  • Investigate and gather evidence in cases of security incidents
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and guests
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience required, but prior experience in a security or law enforcement role is preferred
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to move quickly and safely in emergency situations
