We are seeking a PRN Recreational Therapist to join our team at Poplar Springs Hospital. As a PRN Recreational Therapist, you will provide ancillary therapy assessments, group activity therapy sessions, and develop and implement therapeutic activity sessions. You will also carry a case load, complete all related documentation, and interact with medical, nursing, and other program staff members.
Responsibilities- Provide ancillary therapy assessments and group activity therapy sessions
- Develop and implement therapeutic activity sessions
- Carry a case load and complete all related documentation
- Interact with medical, nursing, and other program staff members
- Assist with development of a related program strategy and monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes
- Certified or eligibility for certification as Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
- HWC certification preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and certification
- One to two years previous experience preferred
