Geriatric Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized care to homebound geriatric patients in the Skagit and Whatcom county regions. The ideal candidate should have a passion for treating the geriatric population and be well-versed in common conditions such as dementia, cardiovascular disease, and endocrinological conditions.
Responsibilities:
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
Complete all relevant details in EMR reports depending on formats.
Order and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' conditions.
Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results through the clinical management system.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or Doctorate degree as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with geriatric populations.
New graduates are also accepted.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current license to practice as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
Active DEA License.
