Overview

Tetra Tech, a leader in sustainable design, seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical discipline team through projects from early concept to construction completion. As a senior mechanical engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a portfolio of ground-breaking projects in various market sectors.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $155,000 - $170,000 per annum, based on location and experience. We offer a hybrid-remote work environment, a competitive total compensation package, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and planning sustainable mechanical systems for buildings and facilities. You will lead technical communication with clients on MEP topics and act as an Engineer of Record. The successful candidate will ensure the overall quality of engineering design, including adherence to Code and client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 15 years of experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
  • Highly technical in HVAC design with a current PE license
  • LEED AP BD+C accreditation and WELL Certification desired
  • Experience using software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES, MS Office
