Job Summary

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care services, working in collaboration with the healthcare team to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the medical surgical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct and indirect patient care services, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • IV certification upon hire (state specific).
