Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at St. Francis Medical Center. As an LVN, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state license to practice as an LVN.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
  • IV certification upon hire (state specific).
  • 1+ year of experience as an LVN in a hospital setting.
