About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Bassett Healthcare Network. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including bathing, skin care, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
  • Observe and report resident status changes and needs to the healthcare team.
  • Assist residents with meals and supplements, and provide incontinent care as needed.
  • Transfer, move, and reposition residents every 2-3 hours and as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and stocking supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and improve skills.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED, preferred.
  • Minimum one year long-term care experience, preferred.
  • NYS Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties of the role.
