Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Coach and train employees to provide exceptional customer service.
- Store Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained, including the fueling area, restrooms, and customer seating areas.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Coach and train employees to improve their skills and performance.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
- Financial Management:
- Manage cash handling and banking procedures, including counting and reconciling cash drawers.
- Monitor and control expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
- Security and Safety:
- Ensure the store is secure and safe for customers and employees, including monitoring CCTV cameras and responding to alarms.
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling security and safety incidents.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of retail management experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, leadership and management skills, inventory management skills, financial management skills, and security and safety skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
