We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team in AWS Billing. As a key member of our Commerce Platform, you will be responsible for defining the technical vision and roadmap for our services, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Define the technical vision and roadmap, working closely with product managers and other stakeholders.
  • Own the software development lifecycle, overseeing requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Champion best practices and innovation, driving the adoption of emerging technologies within your team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of features.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
  • 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing teams of software engineers.
  • Experience managing high-caliber software engineers developing complex, scalable software systems.
