Pump Repair Manager

Job Summary:

As a highly skilled Pump Repair Manager at DXP Enterprises, you will be responsible for leading the Service Department in delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our industrial customers. With a strong background in pump repair and employee management, you will oversee the work of Service Coordinators and Technicians, ensuring the successful completion of service jobs and continually improving department standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct the work of Service Coordinators and Technicians, emphasizing successful service job completion.
  • Continually improve and develop standards for the Service Department.
  • Administer safety, technical, and process training as required.
  • Organize shop operations to achieve operational goals and advise the Customer Service Manager on staff requirements.
  • Monitor the Service Department to ensure efficient use of manpower and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Work with Sales Professionals to prepare technical proposals and support customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Coordinator to ensure the service department operates according to Company Safety policies.
  • Develop and accomplish long-range operating and service sales growth goals with the Customer Service Manager.

Requirements:
  • Must be a working Manager with knowledge of Pump Repair.
  • Extensive (7-10 years minimum) experience in pump and/or other rotating equipment.
  • Employee management experience.
  • Ability to motivate team, hold team members accountable, and accomplish goals.
  • Acceptable driving record, according to company guidelines.

Additional Information:
  • Pay Range: $100k + (DOE)
  • Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. unassisted.
  • Working Conditions: Shop Environment.
  • Training/Certifications: NA.
  • Shift Time/Overtime: Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
  • Travel: Travel to client sites and manufacture's sites for factory training. Must have clear driving record according to company guidelines.
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
