Job Overview

The Engineering Project Coordinator will oversee the comprehensive life cycle of engineering initiatives from conception to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, adhering to timelines and budgetary constraints while fulfilling all project expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Aids in managing the complete engineering project lifecycle, from the initial planning stages through to the final construction phase.

Ø Engages in discussions with engineers, planners, financial analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to define and uphold project deliverables.

Ø Organizes project resources and monitors progress against set timelines and schedules.

Ø Facilitates the selection, negotiation, and coordination of vendors, contractors, or subcontractors.

Ø Directs resource management and scheduling efforts in support of assigned projects.

Ø Monitors project advancement against milestones, budgetary constraints, and other performance metrics, preparing and presenting reports as necessary.

Ø Possesses a solid understanding of industry policies, procedures, and practices.

Ø Familiarity with land development construction, materials, and detailing.

Ø Conducts project research and analysis.

Ø Demonstrates strong analytical engineering capabilities.

Ø Exhibits excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ø Self-driven and motivated.

Ø Capable of multitasking, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.

Ø Thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Ø Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and MS Office; ArcGIS skills are advantageous.

Ø Skills to implement an integrated services approach with a comprehensive understanding of design, details, and preparation of construction drawings, including site layout, grading, erosion control, and stormwater management.

Qualifications

v Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.

v Over 8 years of progressive engineering experience on complex projects.

v Proven track record as a Project Engineer or Project Manager in constructing new facilities; experience with greenfield chemical plants is a plus.

v Strong analytical, organizational, and planning abilities.

v Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

v Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

v Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
