Job Overview

Channel Personnel Services is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the entire life cycle of an Engineering project from inception to closure. The ideal candidate will ensure that the project is delivered efficiently and effectively, on time, within budget, and meets all expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of the full engineering project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through the completion of construction.
  • Participate in meetings with engineers, planners, financial managers, architects, and other business personnel to establish and maintain project deliverables.
  • Coordinate project resources and track project progress against established timelines and schedules.
  • Facilitate the selection, negotiation, and coordination of the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.
  • Direct resource management and scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects.
  • Track project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepare and deliver reports as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects.
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager building new plants.
  • Green field chemical plant experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to lead multiple projects at once is mandatory.
