Job Summary:

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans
  • Manage patients' admission processes to the preoperative department
  • Ensure accurate identification of patients and their medical records
  • Coordinate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure smooth surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or emergencies
  • Provide education to patients and families on procedures, medications, and post-operative care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
  • 2-5 years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care
  • Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
