Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager is a key leadership role at Dirt Cheap Store, responsible for driving sales and customer satisfaction across the entire front-end and receiving areas. This position requires a strong leader who can create and lead a high-performing team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Sales: Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer-friendly environment. Maintain outstanding standards by ensuring each store associate greets customers, has solid product knowledge, and achieves sales targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead monthly meetings to discuss sales performance, customer feedback, and team development. Assess changes and implement improvements to drive business growth.
  • Store Operations: Perform all Store Manager functions, including opening and closing the store, as needed. Complete associate schedules and maintain attendance records in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Timely and accurate completion of all internal reporting processes to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Maintain outstanding hiring standards, recruit, interview, and select candidates on a regular basis. Encourage associates to refer qualified candidates to support business growth.
Requirements
  • Availability: Ability to work irregular or non-core business hours, nights, weekends as needed to ensure store coverage.
  • Credentials: Background check required.
Compensation

$12.00 per hour
