Urologist Position in the VA Eastern Oklahoma Healthcare System

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking committed Staff Physicians to enhance our Surgery Department in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on delivering specialized urological care to our esteemed Veterans. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Administer urological outpatient services to patients
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments
  • Communicate risks, benefits, and alternative treatment options to patients
  • Involve family members in the patient care process
  • Perform a variety of urological procedures
  • Oversee perioperative patient management

This full-time position may also provide opportunities for teaching through collaborations with local medical education institutions. Candidates must possess U.S. citizenship and a valid medical license. Board certification in Urology is highly preferred.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role, operating Monday through Friday, with potential evening and weekend responsibilities. The position offers a competitive salary range of $300,000.00 to $400,000.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
