Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at the University of California. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology Team, you will be responsible for operating radiographic-angiographic equipment, special procedures auxiliary equipment, and physiologic recorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed equipment while following radiology filming protocols and policies.
  • Contribute to and participate in work organization, training, and evaluation of staff as a member of self-directed work teams.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of radiology procedures, protocols, and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within 6 months of hire date.
  • California Radiology Technologist-Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) License.
  • California Radiology Technologist-Radiography (CRT-R) License.
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography issued by ARRT.
  • Required knowledge of PACS, Operating Room, Fluoroscopy, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Experience in diagnostic angiographic procedures, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
  • On-the-job training provided by the CT modality.
  • Demonstrated and applied knowledge of the principles of radiation safety.
  • Cross-trained and competent in computerized tomographic procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of interventional/angiographic radiology experience.
  • Cross-trained and competent in computerized tomographic procedures.
  • Neuro experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sterile fields.
  • EPIC Radiant.
Special Conditions
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Compensation

The annual full pay range for this position is $120,478 - $149,835, which will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%. The hourly equivalent is $71.76. Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs.
