Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Arts Instructor to teach part-time.

About the Opportunity

This is a part-time, non-exempt position available on a semester-by-semester basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in the Culinary Arts program, including classroom and online instruction.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching
    • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in the Culinary Arts program.
    • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
    • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

  • Education
    • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Experience
    • At least three years of culinary industry experience.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a strong desire to teach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Experience
    • Previous teaching experience.
  • Skills
    • Experience working with individuals from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $660.00 per lecture hour, plus benefits as per College policy.
